Personalize the chat window that appears after clicking the button.
- Support Avatar: Humanize your brand by uploading a custom image or logo. Using the built-in WordPress media uploader, you can easily add a profile picture of your support agent or your company logo to the top of the chat window.
- Support Name: Introduce yourself to the user. By default, this might say something like “Mark Johnson” or “Support Team”. Giving a specific name builds immediate trust and makes the digital interaction feel more personal.
- Support Title / Status: Set expectations right away. Use this field to display a helpful sub-title under the name, such as “Typically replies in 5 minutes” or “Customer Success Manager”.
- Default Message: Break the ice before the user even types a word. Enter a welcoming greeting (e.g., “Hi there! How can we help you today?”) that displays inside the chat window. This reduces friction and encourages the visitor to start the conversation.
